EPO International Academy organizuje w dniach 26-28 października 2004r. w Monachium nieodpłatne szkolenie dla członków EPI.

In the framework of the EPO’s International Co-operation Policy, the EPO International Academy offers exclusively to European Patent Attorneys, who would like to deepen their knowledge regarding the Opposition Procedure before the EPO, 30 places for participation in the EPO International Academy Seminar MS1/2004:

The opposition procedure before the EPO
Munich, 26 - 28 October, 2004

Apart from an overview of the European Patent Office and its granting procedure, this course will focus on the Opposition Procedure before the Office. In particular, it will deal with grounds for opposition as well as for revocation and Implementing Regulations to Part V,EPC. Topics such as “Parties to the opposition proceedings”, “Oral Proceedings”, ”Amendments during Opposition Procedure” and “Late-Filed Evidence or Requests”  together with “Substantive Patent Law”, “The Opposition Division” and case studies on “Determining the extent of the protection claimed by the patent attacked and how to attack - Argumentation and Reasoning” form part of this intensive 3 day’s course. A balanced mix of lectures and practical training sessions with both external and EPO experts will guarantee a maximised learning process.

Participation for epi-members is free of charge. The Academy can provide assistance with accommodation. Related costs, however, have to be borne by the participants. Candidates will be accepted on a “first-come first-served” basis.
